Blues Friends @ The Friend

Hey friends! Are you curious about blues dancing? Are you already an avid blues dancer looking for a new spot to check out? Do you just want to hang out with cool people at a gorgeous bar with high quality drinks and great music?

You’re in luck! Wednesday, November 6 is the first event thrown by Blues Friends, at the aptly named bar in Silverlake, The Friend.

Here’s a breakdown of the event:

🕺💃8:30-9:00: introductory blues lesson (beginners and experienced dancers will ALL get something out of this!)

🎶🎸🪩9-Midnight: DJ’d blues music to dance to! A range of eras, styles, tempos, and even a little mix of genres, but primarily slow, groovy cuts with a strong emphasis on the magic of the blues.

🍸 🍻Full bar all night. An excellent assortment of high quality drinks at standard prices. (Event is 21+)

🤩 beautiful indoor space, street parking available in the area.

🆓🆓🆓 NO COVER! Come on in, come as you are! It’s not against the rules to look nice though 😉

This is an open space to learn, explore, be creative, appreciate music, and socialize with super friendly people. No judgment; just good dancing, good music, good drinks, and good vibes.
