Hollywood & Vinyl, a ‘60s / ‘70s Rock Classics & Pop Band

COME DANCING AT CLUB 507 NEWHALL! It’s a new night of 50s, 60s, 70s Rock and Pop Classics with HOLLYWOOD & VINYL (another Pete Jacobs’ originals)! Most of us remember these classic tunes, and probably danced to them way back when. . . now easily adapts to East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop. Come try it! Have fun!

We’re all feeling just a bit ‘tubular’ at Dynamo Event Works . . . WE’VE booked HOLLYWOOD & VINYL!!! We almost can’t believe how lucky we are to have booked another incredible band . . . this time an incredibly fun dance band we know you’ll all enjoy!

This will be a very special event — a concert-style event in the dance hall at Club 507! We’ll be getting all our special friends to join us for this one. Whether you’re a dancer or a music lover, everyone will enjoy this special Sunday event. Pete Jacobs and his bandmates travel up and down the coast of California, primarily in the Southlannd! And, we’re lucky enough to have them for Sunday, December 1stt! We hope you’ll join us for this incredible opportunity!

Dress to impress in your favorite 50s, 60s, or 70s outfit. We’ll have a little costume contest where the winners receive a complementary trip back to Club 507!

Thanks to the Santa Clarita community for supporting this new swing dance venue in the heart of downtown Newhall! Thank you for trusting that the bands we bring in will get you tapping your feet, bobbing your head, and swinging on the dance floor!

And, as we always do now at the band break, you’re all welcome up on stage for an end-of-evening band photo! So much fun!

We’ll have a basic Lindy Hop Dance Lesson before the band at 4:15pm, so you’ll be able to dance as soon as the band plays — from 5-8pm.

Special $30 entry.

Doors open at 4:00pm
Complementary Dance lesson at 4:15pm

About the Venue: Club 507 Newhall

Newhall’s Old Town District gets a New Dance Venue!

A former 1940s movie house, the current American Legion Post 507 is home to the Santa Clarita Valley’s newest hotspot for live music and dancing.

The historic building shares the parking lot at the Old Town Newhall Library at Railroad and Lyons Avenues in Old Town Newhall. Here, the New Club 507 hosts a lively mix of Blues Jams, classic Rock ‘n Roll groups, Big Bands, and Rockabilly bands all playing danceable favorites. Free dance classes are often provided to help beginners and advanced dancers keep busy on the dance floor.

The New Club 507 has free parking, a full bar, ample table seating, catered food offerings and a super-friendly crowd of music lovers and dancers.

The New Club 507 is located adjacent to the Newhall main library building in Old Town Newhall at 24527 Spruce Street (at 11th Street). Take Lyons Avenue east from the I-5 or Newhall Avenue then Railroad Avenue from the 14 Freeway.
