Southwest Biscuit Company

COME DANCE WITH US IN NEWHALL AT CLUB 507!

Jody Byrd and his entire crew of Southwest Biscuit Company will again be here to rock your socks off with their special brand of Vintage Western Swing — a style of music East Coast Swing and Balboa Dancers love!

Southwest Biscuit Company is a raucous, infectious 6-piece band that serves up 40s and 50s Western Swing — California style. These boys know how to entertain a crowd, and they bring the music that lovers of Western Swing want to hear . . . and dance to!

Bring your dance shoes, my friends, and saddle up to our bar for great cocktails and beer. We’ll be teaching some basic EAST COAST SWING for you folks at 4:15, until the band starts at 5.

We’ll have a Drink Special named after the band’s song, “PLEASE LEAVE ME THE WHISKEY!” and we know you’re gonna love Leo, our bartender for the evening. He whip you up whatever you’re hankering for.

About the Venue: Club 507 Newhall

Newhall’s Old Town District gets a New Dance Venue!

A former 1940s movie house, the current American Legion Post 507 is home to the Santa Clarita Valley’s newest hotspot for live music and dancing.

The historic building shares the parking lot at the Old Town Newhall Library at Railroad and Lyons Avenues in Old Town Newhall. Here, the New Club 507 hosts a lively mix of Blues Jams, classic Rock ‘n Roll groups, Big Bands, and Rockabilly bands all playing danceable favorites. Free dance classes are often provided to help beginners and advanced dancers keep busy on the dance floor.

The New Club 507 has free parking, a full bar, ample table seating, catered food offerings and a super-friendly crowd of music lovers and dancers.

The New Club 507 is located adjacent to the Newhall main library building in Old Town Newhall at 24527 Spruce Street (at 11th Street). Take Lyons Avenue east from the I-5 or Newhall Avenue then Railroad Avenue from the 14 Freeway.
